Sequence of Events
One Assignment
Week 1&2 Observations, call roll, grade and pass back papers
Weeks 3&4 Teach 1-2 classes of the same subject (coop. teacher stays in room)
Weeks 5&6 Add 1-2 classes of the same subject (coop. teacher May leave room gradually)
Weeks 7-13 Full responsibility
Weeks 14 Return classes, observe in other classrooms
Two Assignment (Each Assignment)
Week 1 Observations, call roll, grade and pass back papers
Weeks 2-4 Gradually take over classes or subjects, (coop. teacher occasionally leaves)
Weeks 5-6 Full responsibility
Week 7 Return classes to coop teacher ,observe in other classrooms
Requirements of Student Teachers
-4: daily journal, video lesson from each assignment, bulletin board for each, 2 folder games per assignment.
4-8: daily journal, video lesson from each assignment, bulletin board for each, 2 activities per assignment.
Secondary: daily journal, video lesson (one from 1st 7wks and one from last 7 wks), 2 bulletin boards, 4 activities.
P-12: daily journal, video lesson from each assignment (2 total),2 bulletin boards(or aesthetic displays), 4 activities.
Lesson Plans
All student teachers will write out lesson plans for each lesson taught and will confer with their coop. teacher ahead of time. Two full weeks of lesson plans will be turned in at seminar two different times. Feedback will be supplied by the WBC supervisor and or the Education Department Chair.
