The center has two counselors who provide professional, confidential individual
counseling for students who would like to develop more effective coping strategies,
resolve conflicts, or to handle stress and crisis situations. Referral services to other
mental health professionals are also available as needed. The director is a Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC).
Development of effective study skills is essential to success at the college
level. Individualized personal tutoring is available in. A schedule is posted in the
Counseling Center of the hours when tutors are available.
The center provides a wide range of career counseling services. Students may
assess their interests, aptitudes, and career values through Career Direct and Discover.
Students may access job opportunities through several links, as well as local postings.
The center can assist with resumes, interview skills, and job search.
